Abstract:

Contains the supporting textual documentation relating to Rosalie Ritz, her career as an artist, and the court cases that she documented. Includes copies of incomplete typescript drafts she was preparing for a planned publication titled "Trials: Art, Media and the Law." Also present are newsclippings, two notepads with Ritz's notes on trials, programs for an exhibition of Ritz's trial drawings held at San Francisco State University, and approximately 23 color photographs of drawings.
